Purpose
- Explain severe periodontal disease and subgingival calculus to patients
- Brushing demonstration for periodontitis
Right Quadrant

Shows a normal healthy bone condition. Teeth are securely held in place with no mobility.
Left Quadrant

Demonstrates periodontally affected areas with calculus deposit.Teeth are anatomically rooted and are held in place with adhesive to demonstrate mobility.


Demonstrates supereruption and severe mobility of the upper 1st molar, as well as tilting of the lower 2nd molar caused by the edentulous area.

The lower 2nd molar can be tilted by pushing from the side.
