“Creation” at NISSIN
Beginning as a dental materials manufacturer, we have grown into a leading manufacturer of dental education equipment, thanks to the long-standing support of our stakeholders. Today, I feel that our mission is becoming even more significant and essential than ever before.
To fulfill this mission, I am committed to nurturing the various assets that our predecessors painstakingly built. Among these precious assets, there is one thing we must never forget: prioritizing the happiness and growth of all people. This is embodied in our founding spirit, “Building People through the Creation of Value,” which is deeply integrated into our corporate philosophy.
As a manufacturer with our own factories, we certainly produce “products.” However, manufacturing cannot exist without connections to many others—from suppliers of raw materials and packaging to the partners who assist in our production, the equipment companies that keep our factories running, and the logistics providers who deliver our finished goods. Furthermore, it includes the agents and dealers who introduce and sell our products, and above all, the customers who use them.
By wishing for the happiness of everyone involved, NISSIN’s role is not merely to survive through “competition,” but to strive for mutual prosperity through what we call “Co-creation” (Running Together). We believe this is how we meet your expectations.
We define this entire process as our form of “Creation.” As NISSIN moves forward into a new era, we will return to this fundamental principle of “Creation” and strive to be a company that remains indispensable to everyone.

CORPORATE MESSAGE
Dental Education Company
We at NISSIN strive to be a “Dental Education Company.” We use the word “Education” with a very specific intent. You may wonder why we choose the English term instead of the Japanese word Kyo-iku (Education). It is because this term truly embodies our core philosophy.
In Japanese, Kyo-iku carries a strong connotation of “teaching” or “instructing.” The etymology of the Japanese word for “teach” is linked to “pressing down” or “restraining.” We fear that this can unintentionally lead to a top-down approach—telling people what to do, how to be, or what to memorize—encouraging a “cramming” mentality.
In contrast, the word “Education” derives from e- (out) and duc (to lead). To educate is to draw out the potential that already exists within. It means leading out a person’s possibilities. To achieve this, we must trust one another, be trusted in return, and foster mutual motivation. At NISSIN, our corporate philosophy is “Happiness for all.” To achieve true happiness, it is essential for individuals to be self-reliant and to respect one another. For us, “Education” is not just a matter of semantics; it is a fundamental principle that guides everything we do.
