Features

• Transparent mandibular quadrant arch model with anatomical teeth and inferior alveolar nerve
• Buccal side shows the mental foramen and mandibular canal
• Lingual side shows the mandibular foramen, inferior alveolar nerve and partially impacted wisdom tooth (#8)

Purpose:

• To explain to patients the relationship between the teeth and the inferior alveolar nerve
• By combining with the patient’s x-ray image, the model can be an effective tool in describing the lower canals and nerves, thus helping patients understand better
• Useful when describing how each tooth is connected to the nerve and explaining anesthesia and tooth extraction procedures
